Do you know a District Employee or Supervisor that has made great contributions to soil and water conservation in North Carolina? If so, please consider nominating them for the North Carolina Conservation District Employees Association's Conservation District Professional or the Conservation District Official(Board Member) award. This program is the start for those deserving nominees to potentially be recognized nationally.
Selected candidates will be recognized during NCCDEA's luncheon at the annual meeting of the NC Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts in January. Those candidates will be forwarded to the Southeast Conservation District Employees Association (SECDEA) for regional awards consideration. If selected regionally, the candidates are recognized at the SECDEA annual meeting in November. From there, candidates are submitted to the National Conservation District Employees Association (NCDEA) for consideration in their awards program. Candidates selected on the national level will be recognized at the NCDEA annual meeting/luncheon during the NACD Conference in late January.
The application is posted below.
